Alyssa Murillo
My name is Alyssa Murillo and I am fifteen, a capricorn, and sophomore at New Plymouth High, and this is my second year of yearbook and journalism. I moved to Idaho from California during my second grade year with my mom, who just happens to be a New Plymouth High School teacher, and my younger sister. From 2009 to 20017 I have been raising and showing market lambs for 4-H and FFA, recently I have added a dairy heifer project to my list. Dairy cows are my favorite animals. I have been playing piano and taking vocal lessons for seven years. Two years ago I started playing the cello. I am on dance team and colorguard. I enjoy music from all sorts of genres, poems, and art. I love to draw and paint in my free time as well as read. My favorites: my favorite song artist is Adele and Lin-Manuel Miranda, my favorite broadway musical is Hamilton, favorite song is “All I Ask,” favorite book is Good Morning Midnight, favorite color is Navy Blue and Black, and favorite thing is my piano.
