Their Last Chance

October 25, 2017

Seniors Olivia Bishop, Baylee Bishop, Elia Burgin, Jessica Hicks, Holly McReynolds, Reece Petross, Aidrie Voile and Kenzie White, celebrated their last season of Varsity Volleyball at their last home game.

On this special night each girl got gifts, had something nice said about them, and cried. Juniors Taylor Myers and Daina Aguas had decorated the locker room just for them according to the theme (halloween).  Their senior posters were hung around the gym. It was definitely a night of anticipation. Then, everything went downhill when warm ups started.

Elia Burgin, one of the Grim’s most aggressive hitters, collided into another person on the net and sprained her ankle. She missed playing on her own senior night.

The Lady Grims were up against the Cole Valley Chargers and definitely could have used some good hits from Elia. However, Baylee Bishop and Kenzie White setting their way to good hits and libaro Reece Petross getting good digs got them points, but it just wasn’t enough. The Lady Grims lost to the Lady Chargers at their last home game.
