It’s corn maze season! Fall marks harvest season with bountiful crops and wonderful foods. Montgomery Farms hosts a variety of activities, such as; the classic corn maze, their pumpkin patch, petting zoo, paintball arena, and many more activities for the whole family. Montgomery Farms, located at 668 Sugar Ave in Ontario, opens Mondays to Thursdays from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. and Fridays from 5:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.

Prices (Additional attractions are $1 per ticket):
Ages 12 and up: $8
Seniors: $6
Ages 4-11: $5
Ages 3 and under: Free
Haunted Woods start at dark from October 24th to 27th and from October 29th or 31st (Fundraiser for Ontario Music Boosters, +$4 to standard admission)

Test your ability to spin a wondrous story in the Ontario Community Library’s annual “Story Spinners” Writing Contest. The deadline for entry is October 27th at 4 p.m. The winners will be announced on November 7th at 5 in the evening. Every year the contest brings the community together in every form of literacy and self-expression. Teachers have been encouraged to get their students to enter and interested in writing. The contest rules are available here. This contest is free and open to anyone!

Everyone wants to stay fit right? Well get into shape the easy way with Zumba! On Tuesdays at 5:30 p.m. at the Four Rivers Cultural Center, located at 676 SW 5th Ave. in Ontario, be ready to dance the night away with fun songs to get your heart pounding to the beat!
