Auto Repair Man Holds Hostages at Shop

A man accused of holding people hostage at a parkland,washington auto repair shop has been ordered held on a $2.5 million bail. KOMO-TV reports that Randy  smith is charged with 11 accounts, including kidnapping, robbery and assault, for the incident at Sky Motors on Sept 6. According to charges filed in Pierce County superior court, smith walked into the sales office carrying a handgun and a rifle then threatened to kill the four people if not given a car with gas. Three of the victims escaped and the fourth ran. After being hit smith surrendered.

 

10 Year Old Skewered Through the Head

A 10 year old missouri boy is recovering after he was attacked by insects and tumbled from a tree,landing on a meat skewer that penetrated  his skull from his face to the back of his head. But miraculously thats where Xavier Cunninghams bad luck ended. The skewer had missed his eye and all his veins and arteries. It began when yellow jackets started attacking him while he was in his tree house at his home in Harrisonville, about 35 miles south of Kansas City. He fell to the ground and started to scream. His mother Gabrielle Miller, ran to help him. His skull was pierced from front to back with a half foot of a skewer sticking out of his face. Miller tried to reassure her son who told her “ I’m dying mom” as they rushed to the hospital. He went through endovascular neurosurgery. Doctors think Xavier will recover.
